Notable girls first-round playoff games: 
Duncanville 71, Southlake Carroll 26: Dunanville had no trouble staying undefeated, as Zarielle Green scored 23 points and Louisville signee Ciera Johnson scored 18 for the state's top-ranked 6A team. 
Duncanville (33-0) advanced to play Flower Mound, the state's 20th-ranked team. That will be a matchup of McDonald's All-Americans, with Johnson going up against Lauren Cox of Flower Mound. Cox is one of 10 semifinalists for the Naismith national player of the year award. 
South Grand Prairie 61, Hurst L.D. Bell 35: Kayla Wells scored 23 points as No. 17 South Grand Prairie advanced to play No. 9 Plano West in a second-round game that will be a matchup of state-ranked 6A teams. 
Keller 58, Allen 40: Keller outscored Allen 20-7 in the fourth quarter and will next face Cedar Hill, the state's eighth-ranked 6A team. 
Little Elm 60, McKinney 59: Jayeida Neal hit a 3-pointer from the wing at the buzzer to give Little Elm the bi-district win. Keviona Barber scored 24 points and Neal addd 11 as Little Elm (23-7) moved on to play West Mesquite, the state's 20th-ranked 5A team. 
Mesquite Poteet 60, Woodrow Wilson 44: Jada Jennings scored 22 for Poteet, and Jakkisha Smith scored 33 for Woodrow Wilson. 
Argyle 88, Hampton Prep 18: The state's top-ranked 4A team led 26-0 after one quarter and 50-3 at halftime as it improved to 29-1 and advanced to face Melissa. 
Notable boys regular-season finales: 
Irving MacArthur 94, Irving 56: McDonald's All-American Andrew Jones, a Texas pledge, scored 46 points as MacArthur took second in District 9-6A. MacArthur finished one game ahead of Jesuit, which lost 41-38 in overtime to 9-6A champion Skyline. 
South Grand Prairie 64, Cedar Hill 59 (OT): Cameron Foreman scored 15 points, and USC signee Harrison Henderson and Oklahoma State signee Cameron McGriff scored 14 apiece as No. 17 SGP beat No. 5 Cedar Hill in a clash of state-ranked 6A teams that decided second place in 8-6A. DeSoto beat Duncanville 73-60 to win the 8-6A title. 
Richardson 86, North Mesquite 62: Stephen F. Austin signee Brandon Averette scored 36, and Richardson won the 10-6A title as it beat North Mesquite and Mesquite lost 63-56 to Lake Highlands. 
Wylie 71, Wylie East 44: Noah Whitworth scored 22 points as Wylie won a winner-take-all game for the final playoff berth from 10-5A. 
Frisco Centennial 66, Frisco Heritage 37: Jonathon Washington scored 18 points and Mason Smith added 17 as Centennial earned the final playoff berth in 9-5A. 
Carter 58, Lincoln 54: No. 10 Carter beat No. 3 Lincoln as state-ranked 4A teams clashed.
